Pick the cap colour your artwork will actually survive
This is the decision most people skip. White is the only background here that takes full-colour artwork without shifting it, so photographs and gradients belong there. Black and coffee brown give the most contrast for a single-colour light mark. Orange and sky blue are the awkward ones — dark artwork holds its edges on them, pale artwork almost disappears. Send us the logo and we will tell you which bodies it will read on.
Eight baseball caps and one newsboy
Seven of the baseball caps have a white sandwich edge sewn into the peak, so a thin white line runs along the brim. The khaki version is the only one without it, which makes it the plainest cap in the range, and the white version is the only one with a dark edge instead. The ninth is a khaki newsboy flat cap with a short stitched brim and an adjustable buckle at the side — the only non-baseball shape we stock.
Embroidery or print
Embroidery holds up best over years of washing and gives a raised, premium finish, which is why it suits staff uniforms. Printing handles detailed or full-colour artwork that thread cannot reproduce. Both go on the crown panel, which is the flat area with the most usable space.
