The range is small. The 350ml is the everyday glass at S$3.50, with a tapered bowl and a slim stem. The 395ml at S$6.50 takes a larger pour and handles both red and white. The 250ml is made in Japan and priced at S$15.50, which makes it a single-gift glass rather than table-service. The fourth item is not a glass at all: a 6oz stainless steel hip flask in matte black, squared corners, with a screw cap on a hinged arm so it cannot be dropped. It is here because it does outdoors what a glass does indoors.

Where a stem earns its keep

A stem is not decoration. Holding a glass by the bowl warms the wine through your palm, which matters more in Singapore than most places, and a slim stem keeps your hand off it. It also gives engraving somewhere clean to sit. On a stemmed glass the mark usually goes on the bowl, low and centred, where it reads whether the glass is full or empty. The flask is the opposite: matte steel takes an engraved mark with high contrast and no risk of it wearing off.

Questions on stemware

Are stemmed glasses safe in a dishwasher?
The engraving is, because it is cut into the glass. The stem is the fragile part, so a venue washing hundreds a night should expect breakage regardless.

Can we order two of one and two of another?
Yes. There is no minimum on any item, so a four-glass set mixing sizes costs the same per glass as a bulk order.

Which suits a wedding favour?
The 350ml, on price, or the flask if the couple wants something guests will keep using. Both engrave a date cleanly.
